How do I book a private chauffeur in Bordeaux?
Book online on our booking page: enter your pick-up and drop-off addresses, the date, the time and the vehicle. The price of each vehicle is shown before you send your request. The service runs 24/7, by booking.
How do I book a transfer to Bordeaux-Mérignac Airport or Saint-Jean Station?
Use the same booking page, entering the airport or the station as your pick-up or drop-off point. Give us your flight or train number: tracking it helps with the pick-up, without guarantee. A name sign is available on request. See our Bordeaux-Mérignac Airport and Saint-Jean Station pages.
Is my booking confirmed as soon as I send the form?
No. Your request remains pending until SCHAMMADS accepts it. The email you receive after sending it only confirms receipt of your request.
What happens after I send my request?
We review your request, then confirm the journey or contact you if we need more details. For a request on quotation, we send you a free proposal.
Vehicles
How many passengers can the van carry?
The van carries up to 7 passengers and 7 bags, not counting the chauffeur. You can choose it directly when booking online.
How do I choose the right vehicle for my journey?
Choose according to the number of passengers and bags: saloon or electric car for up to 4 passengers, van for up to 7 passengers and 7 bags. For a larger group, state the number of people in your request.

What is chauffeur hire?
A chauffeur and vehicle stay with you for the agreed duration. Your chauffeur drives you from one stop to the next according to your schedule and waits for you between appointments. See our chauffeur hire page.
How long can I hire a chauffeur for?
You choose the duration: a few hours, half a day, a full day or several consecutive days. State the duration and your schedule in your request.
How is the price of chauffeur hire set?
Every request receives a tailored price proposal. It takes into account in particular the duration, the vehicle, the schedule, the distances, the times of day, any waiting time and your specific requirements. Send your request through our contact form, choosing the subject “Chauffeur hire by the hour”.
Tours and long-distance journeys
Can I book a private sightseeing tour?
Yes. Our private tours from Bordeaux are presented on the private tours page, with their options and online booking. Visits and tastings are not included.
Do you offer Saint-Émilion, the Médoc or Arcachon Bay?
Yes, these are our most requested tour destinations, but not the only ones. You can also ask for a tailor-made programme through our contact form.
Do you offer long-distance journeys from Bordeaux?
Yes. When the journey can be booked online, the price is calculated directly on our booking page. For a special request, we provide a free quote. Mileage conditions are specified according to the journey and the service chosen. See our long-distance journeys page.

Can companies book a private chauffeur, including for several journeys?
Yes: transfers, meetings, seminars or regular travel. Describe your needs in the business quote form and we will send you a free quote.
Can companies receive an invoice, per journey or monthly?
Yes. Invoicing can be per journey or monthly, as agreed with you when quoting.
Payment
Which payment methods do you accept?
Card using the payment terminal on board, cash, or bank transfer as agreed. No payment is requested online when you book.

What details should I give to get a price proposal?
The date, the times, the addresses or the schedule, the number of passengers and bags, and the duration you need for chauffeur hire.

Yes. For a wedding, a celebration or a private event, use the form on the Weddings and events page. For a corporate event, use the business quote form.
